For the past four years I have been able to learn, grow, and transform into the leader i am today because of the leadership minor. I used my strengths to guide me and refused to allow my weakness to bring me down. Through my experience as a Leadership minor at URI I have gained an insight as to who I am as a person and how I can bring about great change. My stop strengths, Context, Belief, Communication, Harmony and Positivity are what I lean on day by day. With these strengths I do what I must to bring about Social Change, based on the knowlege i have gained through this minor and other classes I know that the world needs strong leaders who understand can support and maintian an equitable and equal world.

 

As person with all this new knowldge and skills my plan is to bring about Social Change in this world through higher education and student affairs. I truly believe education, especially higher education is the perfect medium to create spaces of inclusivity, fairness, equality, and progress.
